Update C5TAKO™ firmware through the web, without installing additional software. Use the Web Firmware Installer with Chrome or Edge.

Before you begin

  • Use a computer with Chrome or Edge.
  • Prepare a data-capable USB cable, not a charge-only cable.
  • Charge the battery sufficiently.
  • Close programs that are using the device’s serial port.
  • Back up important files from Storage before updating.
Do not unplug the cable, turn off the computer, or close the web page during firmware installation.

If the website cannot find the device

  1. Use a data-capable USB cable.
  2. Connect directly to the computer, not through a USB hub.
  3. Close Serial Monitor, Arduino IDE, and any other program using the port.
  4. Unplug the cable, wait about five seconds, then reconnect it.
  5. Refresh the page and select Connect again.
  6. If it is still not found, stop and contact the seller.
Version names on the website can change. Use C5 TAKO, board ESP32-C5, and 8MB Flash as the main identifiers.
