Find Wi-Fi routers and devices, then select the target required by menus labeled `Selected AP` or `Selected STA`. ## Before you begin * Place C5TAKOβ„’ near the network you need to inspect. * Use only your own networks and devices, or ones you are authorized to use. * Stop any other Wi-Fi feature before starting a scan. ## πŸ“‘ AP β€” Router or Access Point ```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"dracula"}} WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ AP β†’ Scan ``` Open `WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ AP β†’ Scan` and wait for the network list. Open `WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ AP β†’ Select`, then use up/down to browse network names. Press the center button on the intended network. Once selected, this AP is used by commands labeled `Selected AP`. Open `WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ AP β†’ Info` to view the selected AP. **Confirm success:** `AP β†’ Info` shows the selected network's information. πŸ“· **Image to add:** An AP scan result with the network name, signal, and selected entry highlighted; use a test network. 🎬 **Media to add:** β€œScan AP β†’ Select β†’ choose entry β†’ Info β†’ go back”; blur real network names. ## πŸ“± STA β€” Phone or client ```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"dracula"}} WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ STA β†’ Scan ``` 1. Open `WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ STA β†’ Scan`. 2. Wait for scanning to finish and for devices to appear. 3. Open `WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ STA β†’ Select`. 4. Use up/down, then press the center button on the intended device. 5. Open `WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ STA β†’ Info` to inspect the selected device. **Confirm success:** `STA β†’ Info` shows the selected device's information. 🎬 **Media to add:** β€œScan STA β†’ Select β†’ Info,” using only the recorder's own device and blurring addresses before publishing. ## πŸ”„ Scan AP+STA ```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"dracula"}} WIFI β†’ SCAN β†’ Scan AP+STA ``` Use this menu to find both routers and devices in one pass before beginning a test. ## βœ… Check whether selection succeeded Open `AP β†’ Info` or `STA β†’ Info`. If the screen shows the intended entry's information, it was selected successfully. If no entry appears, move closer to the device, let the current scan finish, and try again.
