# SPAM

> Test BLE notifications with authorized devices.

Use this page to test BLE notifications with your own phone.

Menu path: `Bluetooth → SPAM`

<Warning>
  Test only in a controlled area and stop immediately when finished; nearby devices belonging to other people may receive notifications.

## Choose a preset

Choose the preset that matches the test device:

| Preset      | Use with                             |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------ |
| `iOS`       | Supported Apple devices.             |
| `Samsung`   | Supported Samsung devices.           |
| `Android`   | Supported Android devices.           |
| `Microsoft` | Supported Microsoft devices.         |
| `Random`    | Cycles through several data formats. |

## Start and stop

    Place your phone near C5TAKO™ and enable Bluetooth.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a preset">
    Open `Bluetooth → SPAM` and choose the preset that matches the device.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start the test">
    Press the center button to start and observe the response on your phone.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Stop">
    Use [the feature-stop procedure](/en/getting-started/controls#stop-an-active-feature) immediately when finished.
